New reports from Verisign in the U.S. and Nominet in the UK show total domain name registrations continue to expand but the growth rate is slowing down (country codes are outperforming the rest of the registration market). After award winning work at Richmond.com, Jon Lumpkin has left to join Skip Hoagland's Domains New Media where he will help build a new site on Alexandria.com. The project will serve two cities that share the same name. Lumpkin will work on Alexandria, Virginia while Gastón Piarrette develops a corresponding site for Alexandria, Egypt. |
