New-Tech Domains and When To Cut Losses

Occasionally I become interested in a new technology that is just beginning to bud, and if it sounds promising, like others I may take a gamble on registering some domains within that field in the hope the technology eventually goes mainstream. Each year as the domains come up for renewal I spend some time reviewing […]

Five Figure .CA Domain Sale and May 25 TBR Drop Results

DomainReport.ca The last .ca domain TBR drop in May took place yesterday on May 25.  In this drop a total of 159 .ca domains were taken.  The quality wasn't as good as in the previous week's drop, but there were still a few good names.  Also, some domains like toyshop.ca and danger.ca have appeared in multiple drops recently, and I'm not sure why that is.  My guess is there must have been some

A Hell.ca of a May 18 .CA TBR Drop

DomainReport.ca The May 18 .ca domain TBR drop returned a total of 163 domains that were caught. There were quite a few good to great names available this week, as you can see in the first 25 or so spots.  Nice one and two word generic domains, with potential for commercial or brandable appeal. Some of the top names that were taken include: Hell.ca Operation.ca  (great family board game)

ToyShop.ca a Hot Item in April 27 .CA TBR

DomainReport.ca The April 27 TBR report now brings me up to date on the current .ca drops. In this TBR, a total of 220 .ca domains were caught.  There are some good LLL.ca and one word domains near the top of the list, then I think the quality drops off.  You can be the judge. I haven't noticed any reported .ca domain sales in the last month or so, hopefully things pick up for the remainder of
