JohnMalkovich.com Not A Squarespace Domain

Squarespace ran a 2017 Superbowl ad that rings a bell for domain owners with JohnMalkovich.com as the domain name story line but the funny thing is, JohnMalkovich.com isn’t even registered “with” Squarespace’s “official” domain registrar.

Technically speaking, Squarespace isn’t even a domain name registrar, like GoDaddy.com is for an example. Squarespace states it’s “official” registrar is Tucows:

Registering a domain through Squarespace gives your website a professional look and avoids the need to register a domain with a third-party provider.

SC Johnson Acquires Raid.com Domain Name

SC Johnson & Son Inc. has acquired the premium generic domain name Raid.com to match its popular bug killing brand moniker.

Although it seems to be common nature that large brands own exact match .com domain names to there brands, it’s not always the case. It is now for the Raid brand.

SC Johnson is really a “poster child” when it comes to domain names, owning and using the best ones for its brands and products.

GoDaddy Sells JG.com & LF.com Domain Names

GoDaddy has been on a roll! Yesterday DomainGang.com reported that GoDaddy sold GH.com and now today I had noticed they have also sold JG.com and LF.com!

The GH.com domain name was the 6th, 2 letter .com domain GoDaddy had sold since April 2016 (when they acquired the Elite Domains portfolio) and now that total jumps to 8!
