Prudential Financial Inc. acquires premium generic domain name Retirement.com from Telepathy Inc.

DotWeekly broke the news that Retirement.com had sold back in January 2016 but the corporate buyer was unknown until now.

Whois information is still generic at corporate domain name provider MarkMonitor but name servers have updated to Prudential.

Facebook Inc. has acquired the premium generic domain name GameRoom.com

The domain name has been registered since 1998 and was owned by Julie Anderson of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The domain has had a lot of interest over at domain name aftermarket service Sedo, showing 113 offers have been made on it.

Premium domain name brokerage firm Media Options has sold the premium domain name Santa.com!

The domain name has just moved into Escrow.com holdings according to whois records:

In 2 Days, GoDaddy Sells Millions Of Dollars Out Of NameFind Portfolio

GoDaddy has been on fire the past two days, selling domain names out of it’s NameFind domain name portfolio. The following are simply domains I had noticed change ownership based on name server records, so there easily could be more.

Yesterday, some of those sold included FOC.com which was acquired by Information Services Inc. LML.com was acquired by WDINCO, LLC. They also sold 4, NNN .net’s and 14 LLLL .com’s into the Chinese market.
