Add these tasks to your to-do list.
I’ve completed two housekeeping tasks this morning related to my domains at Afternic, and I’d consider them critical to maximizing your sales volume.
First, did you know that domains pointed to ns1.uniregistrymarket.link no longer resolve? Apparently, this happened sometime between May and now. The last time I audited my portfolio, these nameservers still worked. Now they don’t. I must have missed the memo.
As a result, about 5% of my portfolio hasn’t been resolving to landing pages. So, if you still have domains pointing there, be sure to update the nameservers.
Second, within the past 24 hours, you should have received notifications from your domain registrars if you have .xyz and .io domains listed on Afternic. These are now eligible for Fast Transfer. If you have Buy Now prices on your domains, you should definitely opt-in. It will greatly increase your chances of selling the domains.
I only own about a dozen .io domain names. Ironically, my first .io sale came yesterday morning via Afternic — before the opt-in was available.
