It sounds like the business is going well. But the company ran into a hitch when it expanded to the United States: its .ca domain wouldn’t cut it anymore.

The obvious solution was to buy

In a Tik Tok video (embedded below), Tammy Phan, CEO of the luxury goods company, said her company offered $100,000 to buy the .com from the blogger that uses the domain. They were rebuffed, but ended up with a shorter domain for less:

Phan says they paid $80,000 to get the short domain.

And in a follow up video, Phan said getting a .com was critical for the business.
