HearingLoss.com Sold to Audigy Group for $130,000 USD

HearingLoss.com was acquired by Audigy Group for $130,000 USD, with the transaction appearing on DN Journal’s 2012 domain sales list. While the exact sale date remains unconfirmed, the domain’s previous owner was Marchex LLC.

Audigy Group, founded in 2004, specializes in business and performance management solutions for independent hearing care professionals and university programs across North America. The company quickly gained recognition, earning spots on Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. multiple times. In 2016, Audigy was acquired by GN Hearing (GN ReSound) in a deal worth up to $151 million, including an upfront payment of $91 million and potential earn-out payments of up to $60 million.

Since the acquisition, Audigy has transformed HearingLoss.com into a leading resource for hearing health. The website now features educational articles on hearing loss, an online hearing screening tool, and a directory of certified hearing care professionals. It also provides tools for hearing care providers, including marketing and practice management solutions.

HearingLoss.com aims to connect individuals with expert care while offering insights into hearing health, treatment options, and the latest advancements in hearing technology.
